Inergen Fire Suppression Systems
Inergen is a mixture of three naturally occurring gases; 52% nitrogen, 40% argon and 8% carbon dioxide, and has no ozone depletion potential and does not contribute to global warming. It quickly suppresses the fire without further damaging sensitive equipment and does not require a time consuming clean up of the extinguishant agent afterwards. It is also one of the safest fire extinguishing gases proven to have no ill effects on people or the environment.
Inergen suppression systems do not impact on protected equipment because it is clean, dry and electrically non-conductive. It also does not produce toxic or corrosive residue.
This type of agent is an effective extinguishant that can be used on many types of fires. It is designed for total flooding protection against Class A surface burning, Class B flammable liquid, and Class C fires occurring within an enclosure by oxygen depletion.
